Wild Baking Weekend Class - Sept 24-25th


We are so excited about our unique collaboration with the Fat Hen Cookery School in offering a WIld Baking Weekend. It's an opportunity to discover the details of our studio's cake making processes, while enjoying the delights of West Cornwall.

Expert forager Caroline Davey will be our guide in gathering the finest Cornish ingredients from the landscape to flavour and enrich each cake. Then, at the Fat Hen Cookery we'll bake the most delicious sponge, and decorate it beautifully for our family and friends to admire and enjoy....and there will still be plenty of time to enjoy award winning local restaurants and fresh wild views.

There are many ways to get to West Cornwall. Feel free to arrive by air, sea, or land. One of our favourite ways is the 23:45 Night Riviera Sleeper from Paddington - go to bed in London and wake up in Cornwall refreshed and ready for the day.

There are a number of outstanding boutique hotels and B&B's to stay in. We like Chapel House, The Artist's Residence and Venton Vean particularly.

In the eveningbook a table at one of Penwith's outstanding restaurants. We love The Shore, Tolcarne Inn and The Gurnard's Head.

If you are interested the class costs £250 per person which includes a delicious lunch each day, and all equipment and materials for the course...and naturally, lots of cake.
