Life is full of decisions so we like to keep it simple so we have six classic signature flavours:
- Rich Victoria Sponge with handmade Cornish strawberry/raspberry/cherry jam - this cake is made rich with extra organic eggs yolks from our local supplier in St Ewe.
- Lemon Layer Cake filled with buttercream laced with fragrant hand foraged Cornish Elderflower
- Intense Chocolate Cake with dark chocolate buttercream filling made with Rodda’s cream and fairly traded, high cocoa content, chocolate.
- Almond and Cherry Sponge with an amaretto buttercream. Think of the very best bakewell tart you have ever tasted.
- Carrot Cake, not too sweet, (with or without nuts), with a zesty orange cream cheese frosting filling.
- Red Velvet Cake - a buttermilk based cake with a hint of chocolate and distinctive red colour, paired with a cream cheese frosting.
- Fruit Cake - light, moist and boozy. The kind of fruit cake that people who don’t like fruitcake actually like. Great for keeping.
- Or a little something else - We are happy to work with your favourites which are not on our signature list, or develop recipes to suit various tastes.
Our cakes are filled with our own special buttercream recipe. Developed to be rich and creamy but not too sweet with a flavour honed to perfectly compliment the cake.
If you have special dietary needs we want you to know that we are passionate about making our vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free cakes taste as good as our regular cakes.
